Ethnic composition Czech - 94.4% Slovak - 3.0% Polish - 0.6% German - 0.5% Roma - 0.3% Hungarian - 0.2% Other - 1.0% Updated (December 2003) According to the most recent Population and Housing Census carried out on March 1, 2001, 416,104 persons (4 percent of the population) declared a national identity other than Czech (Czech, Moravian, Silesian).
